An estimated 80 million Americans have Hypoglycemia and most don’t even know it! That’s why The Hypoglycemia Support Foundation, Inc., stands firmly behind its mission statement of continuing to be a leader in providing support, advocacy and information about the causes, prevention and management of functional Hypoglycemia, also known as low blood sugar.
Roberta Ruggiero, President and Founder of The Hypoglycemia Support Foundation, Inc., has lived her life with passion, purpose, perseverance and a plan. Roberta’s foundation is celebrating its 33rd year at their 3rd Annual Hypoglycemia Takes Center Stage Gala “Casino Royale” fundraiser which will be held at the spectacular Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on October 19, 2013 at 7:00PM.
The Hypoglycemia Support Foundation will be recognizing and honoring philanthropic men and women for their outstanding dedication, benevolence and commitment to making a difference in our community. This exciting and fun-filled evening will begin with a cocktail reception, silent auction and tribute ceremony. It will be followed by dinner, dancing, roulette, blackjack and more produced by Events by Vento Designs. Most importantly, it will be a celebration of what the HSF has already accomplished and of their incredible plans for the future.
Assisting her in this endeavor is a group of dedicated individuals who have given so generously and unconditionally of their time, expertise and support including Event Chair, Dale Ledbetter – President & CEO of Ledbetter Enterprises, Inc., and Event Co-Chair, Christina Rosario – President & CEO of Bella Vita Associates, LLC. Add to that roster our Honorees, a group of very influential, committed movers and shakers. Roberta will present these Honorees with the HSF’s first “Committed to Excellence” Award:
- Marc M. Kesselman, D.O., FACC, FACOI, Co-founder, Chairman and CEO of The Nerdel Company
- Robin Kesselman, D.O. Co-founder and President of The Nerdel Company.
EMCEE, Trina Robinson of NBC6, will lend a hand to ensure that the night lives up to the HSF’s mission statement of continuing to be the world-renowned leader in disseminating information and offering encouragement and hope to those suffering from Hypoglycemia – a confusing, complicated, and too often misunderstood condition.
