Wisdom And Company – Pay It Forward

Wisdom & Co is one of the hottest Yoga clothing lines in the country. The company is run by the mother-daughter team of Ana and Adora Wisdom, yes those are their real names.  Ana is a life long Yogi and with that comes a strong belief in karma. And that is why pay it forward is a big part of what Wisdom & Co is all about.

In 2010, Wisdom & Co sponsored a summer program for underprivileged children from urban neighborhoods around the Houston area called Gloves verses Guns. The program was a community boxing program that gave kids an opportunity to partake in fitness programs that they normally couldn’t afford. Not only did Wisdom & Co donate funding to the program, Adora Wisdom was also hands on and spent the summer as a volunteer.

Wisdom & Co is known in the Yoga community for the way they give back. Just last month Wisdom and Co donated over $3,000 dollars worth of clothing to the girls at the  Pompano Shelter. This month they donated monies and are attending the gala for The Victory school in Miami for children with autism to raise money for scholarships for families that can’t afford the tuition. Earlier this year, Wisdom and Co donated a gift certificate for the Jessica June Cancer Foundation.
